Soloset 1.0
The first public release
- Soloset for iPhone, free: records 4K takes at 30 frames per second on the phone, alone or run from a Mac.
- Soloset for Mac: the live picture from the phone, about 140 ms behind, with the take's state on a banner.
- Hands-free control: Space starts, pauses and resumes; Return held stops (or a double press, for pedals that cannot hold); H marks a highlight; M records a voice memo while paused. Any foot pedal that types a key works.
- Pairing in one scan: the Mac shows a code, the phone scans it, and every channel between them is encrypted with that pair's own key.
- Every take checked: each file is copied to the Mac and compared with the phone's copy before the take shows as done.
- Edit-ready export: a take goes to a folder as one bundle, with its segments in order, memos, markers and a manifest.
- A phone call pauses a take instead of ending it, and a take stops on its own only when space runs low or the phone gets critically hot.
- English and Italian.
